 Beginner French Classes

This “All About France” class begins Tuesday, Jan. 10, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Call 209-3655 to register for this 6-week session.  Fee: $30 for River House members; $35 for non-members.

Registration Begins for Spanish Classes

River House, 179 Marine St., is now taking registrations for Beginner Spanish and Conversational Spanish.  Class instructor will be Maria Martinez. The January 2017 class dates have not been scheduled. Each 6-week session is $30 for River House Members and $40 for non-members.  Call 209-3655 to register.  Advance payment required.

 Tai Chi Classes Improve Balance

Tai Chi beginner class is on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:30-11:30 a.m., at River House, 179 Marine St.   Intermediate students are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-10:30 a.m.  Cost per class is $4 for River House Activity Members and $5 for non-members.   Call 209-3655 to reserve your place.

 Medicare Help

Dick Wallis is here for people interested in help with Medicare. He is available by appointment on Tuesdays from 9-11:30 a.m., in the Partner’s Office at River House, 179 Marine St. For questions or appointments call 209-3655.

Dinner and a Movie

Join River House movie goers on Thursday, Jan. 26, 179 Marine St. from 4:30-7:30 p.m., for the showing of “Sully” starring Tom Hanks as Chesley Sullenberger, who became a hero after gliding his plane along the water in the Hudson River, saving his 155 passengers.  $13 for River House Members and $16 for Non-members.  Call 209-3655 for reservations.
