Volunteer opportunities at the COA

The Council on Aging has the need for the following volunteers:

CARE CONNECTION: 180 Marine St.: – Volunteer needed to help with Prescription Assistance program, pick-up and delivery of applications, etc. once or twice monthly in the area of Flagler Hospital. Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com

Volunteer with pick-up truck needed on “as needed” basis to pick up donations such as wheel chairs, lift chairs, walkers, etc. Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com

COASTAL COMMUNITY SENIOR CENTER – 180 Marine St.: – Volunteer needed to do blood pressure checks and to lead chair exercises Fridays 9 a.m. to noon. Preferably someone with a background in health, physical education or exercise. Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com

THE PLAYERS COMMUNITY SENIOR CENTER: 175 Landrum Lane, Ponte Vedra Beach – Volunteers needed for activity set up mornings: Friday 10 am and Monday 9 am. This is a great community service opportunity for home-schooled teens. Make new friends while joining us in a wide variety of fun social activities.
