Larimer concert series continues
PALATKA – Stephen Chandler and Sleek highlight this Friday’s (March 24) Live at the Larimer concert series. The program continues from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Scarlett-Hill Theater in the Larimer Arts Center, 216 Reid Street. Cost is $7.
Sleek was founded by Stephen Chandler, and he describes the group as a “collaborative sound of music that derived from a group of musicians both young and old with sounds ranging from traditional jazz, smooth jazz, Gospel and R&B.”
The band consists of Stephen Chandler on saxophone/piano, Godfrey Smith Sr. on bass, Willie Wright Jr. on drums, James White Guitar and Keith Givens complements the band with vocals. New addition is Nicole Rogers, a Gospel, R&B and soul vocalist.
The Patriots Baseball team will be selling treats and drinks. Money goes to help the local winning travel baseball team with travel expenses.
