Pilot Club to honor veterans

SAINT AUGUSTINE – The Pilot Club of St. Augustine will once again place American flags in front of the Lightner Building during the Memorial Day Weekend.  Individuals are invited to submit the names of those who have served and include branch of service. Deadline for submissions is May 19.

These names will be placed on the flags which will be displayed from May 27 until early May 30. All branches of the service will be  included. A patriotic contribution to the community there is no charge, but donations are always welcomed.

To submit names individuals are invited to call 904-471-2246; email names and branch to  PilotStAugustine@gmail.com, send to  PO Box 3761, St. Augustine, Fl. 32085. Names may also be submitted to any member of the Pilot Club. Information should include the individual’s name and branch of service. All branches of services are included in the tribute including the Florida National Guard, Merchant Marine, Coast Guard, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force.
