Q My canna lilies have a lot of browned leaves. Can I cut the plant back?

A  Since this is a fast growing plant, you can cut it back to the ground, fertilize it and keep it watered to get fast regrowth.

Q   Can I root cuttings of coleus in water or do I need to stick it in the soil?

A   Coleus can be rooted in water. Once roots form, plant in soil and pamper them until the roots get used to being in soil, usually within a few weeks.
