United Way marks successful year

SAINT AUGUSTINE – poolside gathering at the Casa Monica Resort, 95 Cordova St., is planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 24 by United Way of St. Johns County. The event is in celebration of the success of the 2017 campaign and accomplishments during the past year, explains Melissa Nelson, president/CEO.

Her invitation is “sip, savor and socialize poolside as we share our vision for the upcoming year. Sunglasses provided.”

Registration for the gala is now underway. Ticket price before Aug. 17 is $20; $25 after Aug. 17. $10 valet parking is available.
