Reformation celebration at Memorial

SAINT AUGUSTINE –  Sunday, Oct. 8 at the 10:30 a.m. worship, Memorial Lutheran Church has planned a special celebration to install Sunday School teachers, Chapel School teachers, bless the children, and provide a special treat as the Chapel School children sing special music.

The church is also beginning a new Children’s Chapel program during this worship experience. Following the Children’s sermon, and the Chapel School kids singing, the children will join the teachers for Children’s Chapel in Hartman Hall. Children will return to worship to be with families following the sermon.

Following worship there will be a pot luck luncheon. All are asked to bring a food item to share. During this time, there will also be a special film on Martin Luther and the Reformation in celebration of the 500^th Anniversary of the Reformation.
