Children’s choral festival set

SAINT AUGUISTINE – The 2nd Annual Children’s Choral Festival, co-presented by Music at Grace and the St. Augustine Youth Chorus is planned Feb. 17 at Grace United Methodist Church, 8 Carrera St.

The workshop begins at 9:30 a.m., with the concert, which is open to the public, beginning at 3 p.m. A freewill offering will be collected.

Individuals in grades 3-8 are welcome to participate. There is no fee and lunch will be provided. This is a great opportunity to “try-out” being in a chorus if it is a new endeavour. All are welcome, whether with some or no experience.

Directors of children’s choirs are invited to bring a group to participate in the workshop and also sing a song or two during the concert.
