Cracker Day is March 31 in Flagler
FLAGLER COUNTY – Flagler County 63rd annual Cracker Day is March 31 at Flagler County Fairgrounds. A rodeo and barbecue are part of the day’s events at the family-friendly event.
Gates open at 7 a.m. Morning games, hosted by the Rough Riders, begin at 8 a.m. In the afternoon enjoy bull riding, barrel racing, chute dogging, sack race, buddy pick-up, steer saddling, ribbon roping and breakaway roping.
Fees include bull riding ($40 for senior riders, $25 for junior riders), barrel racing ($25), chute dogging ($20), sack race ($20), buddy pick-up ($20), steer saddling ($40), ribbon roping ($20) and breakaway roping ($20).
Call in for barrels will be Monday, March 26, from 7-9 p.m. and bulls on Tuesday, March 27, from 7-9 p.m. at 386-437-3240. Registration for all other games will begin at 10 a.m. on the morning of Cracker Day.
Games that are free fro children are egg scramble, boot race, chicken chase and pig chase.
Cost of admission is $10 for ages 4 and older. Ticket includes a barbecue lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
