Preparing for Holy Week

SAINT AUGUSTINE – St. Anastasia Catholic Church announces Palm Sunday and Holy Week services. The church is located on A1A South, south of St. Augustine Beach.
Palms will be blessed and distributed at the 4 p.m. Mass on Saturday, March 24, and will also be distributed at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Masses on Palm Sunday, March 25.
HOLY WEEK
Holy Thursday (March 29)
Morning Prayer 9 a.m.
Mass of the Lord’s Supper 6 p.m.
Good Friday (March 30)
Morning Prayer 9 a.m.,
Proclamation of the Lord’s Passion 3 p.m.,
Stations of the Cross 6 p.m.
(Note—there will be no fish fry on Good Friday)
Holy Saturday (March 31)
Morning Prayer 9 a.m.,
Blessing of Easter food 12 Noon
Easter Vigil 8:30 p.m. (There will be no 4 p.m. Mass)
Easter Sunday (April 1)
Masses 7, 9, and 11 a.m.
Easter Egg hunt following the 11 a.m. Mass on the church grounds

Easter Egg Hunt
Children in 5th grade or younger are invited to hunt Easter eggs on the church grounds following 11 a.m. Easter Sunday Mass. The hunt begins with a prayer in the church Community Center. Children will be dismissed by age group to begin the hunt. A reception will follow and the Easter bunny will be visiting for photos.
