PHS Class of ’68 marks 50th year

PALATKA – It’s summer, and reunions are in the air. April 20 and 21 it was Palatka Senior High School’s Class of 1968.

The two-day event drew about 170 people for the 50^th anniversary of the class. April 20 it was a get-reacquainted night at Beef O’Brady’s on the Palatka riverfront. April 21 class members and spouses enjoyed a steak dinner at the Putnam County Shrine Club in East Palatka.

The class, at 289 graduates, was the largest up to that time.
