SAINT AUGUSTINE – Kick off the summer in style by joining the Lightner Museum May 31from 6 to 8 p.m. on the second floor gallery spaces. Enjoy an evening of art, music, and conversation in what us
ed to be the Alcazar Hotel’s spa facilities. The second floor now houses the museum’s porcelain collections, cut glass collections, Tiffany glass and stained glass collections. Put your sleuthing glasses on and identify the different countries our collection hails from while enjoying wine and refreshments.

Lightner Museum Curator, Barry Myers, will be rubbing elbows with guests offering “fun facts” on second floor collection pieces. Museum docents will be on-hand to talk to guests about their favorite (and possibly least favorite) parts of the collections and the Alcazar Hotel.
Enchanting music will be provided by Jacksonville’s Blue Muse. Blue Muse specializes in classic jazz standards as well as its own take on more modern classics.
This event is free and open to the public. Donations are requested for beverages. Guests may enter through the Cordova street entrance by the Café Alcazar. Entrance will be clearly marked.
The Lightner Museum is a non-profit cultural institution sustained by the generous support of individuals, businesses, and sponsors. Donations are appreciated.
