Area groups meeting

The Ancient City Poets will host a community open mic reading on Sunday July 29 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Corazon Cinema and Cafe (36 Granada St.,  across from Lightner Museum).

The Women’s Networking group is taking the months of July and August off, Meetings will resume in September.

The Pilot Club of St. Augustine meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Applebee’s. The board meeting begins there are 5 p.m. Members are reminded to bring items for the sharing project. This month it is supplies for Exceptional Student Education classrooms.

The United Way annual business meeting continues from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at the Casa Monica Resort and Spa, 95 Cordova St. Ticket prices before July 23 at $20; $30 after that date. $10 valet parking is available. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
