Music this week ranges from 70s and 80s to New Orleans jazz in the Plaza

SAINT AUGUSTINE: The sweet sounds of summer continue as area concerts are spotlighted through Labor Day.

Music by the Sea, sponsored by the St. Augustine Beach Civic Association, continues through Sept. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. and each concert will have dinner available from a local restaurant.

The July 18 concert features July 18 it’s Ain’t Too Proud to Beg, with 70’s, 80’s and pop dance. Little Margie’s FA Cafe will provide the food. All concerts are free.

July 25, Billy Buchanan presents Rock & Soul Revue. Food will be provided by Big Island Bowls.

Concerts in the Plaza de la Constitucion, in downtown St. Augustine, began May 31 and continue until Aug. 30. There is no charge. Those attending should bring lounge chairs for seating. Picnic dinners are popular, but no alcoholic beverages are allowed.  Concerts in the Plaza continue from 7 to 9 p.m. each Thursday during the summer.

July 19 is The Raisin Cake Orchestra featuring New Orleans Jazz. July 26, music will be featured by Sandals, an 8-piece dance band plaing beach and Motown music.

Music in the Park is presented by Anastasia State Park from 6 to 8 p.m. in the park’s beach pavilion adjacent to Island Beach Grill. There is an open jam session from 5 to 6 p.m. each time. The concert is free with park admission of $8 per vehicle with two to eight persons; and $2 for pedestrians and bicyclist.
