City adds two concerts to summer music

SAINT AUGUSTINE: The sweet sounds of summer 2018 are coming to a close.

Music by the Sea, sponsored by the St. Augustine Beach Civic Association, continues through Sept. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. and each concert will have dinner available from a local restaurant. All concerts are free.

Sept. 5 features JW Gilmore playing blues, with food from Mellow Mushroom; and Sept. 12 the series concludes with MBTS All Star Band and classic rock and more. Sunset Grille will provide the food. selections.

Concerts in the Plaza de la Constitucion, in downtown St. Augustine are extended to Sept. 12 and 13, to acc9ommodate two concerts which were postponed.Rob Ellis Peck and Friends will appear Sept. 12; and The Session will perform Sept. 13. Both shows begin at 7 p.m.

. Those attending should bring lounge chairs for seating. Picnic dinners are popular, but no alcoholic beverages are allowed.  Concerts in the Plaza continue from 7 to 9 p.m. each Thursday during the summer.
