EMMA celebrations continue Oct. 6

SAINT AUGUSTINE – EMMA Concert Association continues its 2018-19 40th anniversary series Oct. 6 with The Chris Thomas Band, presenting Big Band sounds at 7:30 p.m. in Flagler College’s Lewis Auditorium, Granada Street. Tickets are $40. Call 904-797-2800 or go to http://www.emmaconcerts.com.

Thomas, born in Chicago, is a longtime Jacksonville resident. Performing with a variety of bands throughout his career, he formed The Chris Thomas Band in June 2014 to bring, he explains, the highest level of quality and showmanship to his fans and audience.

Prior to the Oct. 6 concert, EMMA presents the “Sinatra to Soul” gala from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Markland House at Flagler College. Hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and silent auction are planned for this fundraiser.

Entertainment will be provided by E.T. Sings the Thing.

Tickets are $50 per person, and cocktail attire is requested.
