Special day at Durbin Creek nursery

SAINT AUGUSTINE – Durbin Creek Nursery will host an appreciation day Saturday Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to thank customers for their support of the northern St. Johns County business. A day of fun, games, prizes, educational gardening stations and a complimentary picnic lunch will mark the occasion.

Planned Oct. 20 will be hands-on educational stations on herb growing and butterfly gardens; a scavenger hunt with prizes for children; a corn hole/bean bag toss competition with plants for prizes; a “spin the wheel and get a deal” for discounts on your entire purchase of in-stock inventory; and, a raffle drawing for three major prizes from the nursery. All festivities are free and open to the public.

Directions:    From St Augustine, take US-1 North and take a left onto Race Track Road. Go approximately 4.6 miles; the nursery is on the left. If you pass D R Horton, you have gone too far. From Route CR-13, turn onto Race Track Road, and go approximately 5 miles. The nursery is on the right shortly after D R Horton.
