Plaza candidate for Great Places honor

SAINT AUGUSTINE – St. Augustine’s Plaza de la Constitución has been named as one of the four finalists in the Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association’s 5th Annual Great Places in Florida Award. The award program focuses on unique, memorable places that work for the good of their community and attract people to visit them.

The finalists were selected by a panel of multidisciplinary experts and the winner will be determined by popular voting by the public which began on Monday, Oct. 8 and continues through Friday, Oct. 19. The winner will be announced on Friday, Oct. 26.
