Gilded Age topic for Lightner event

SAINT AUGUSTINE – Come explore the Lightner Museum’s newest exhibit America’s Castles, on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 6 to 8 pm. Showcasing collection pieces from the Gilded Age, a time of great wealth and industrialization in America, guests can simply peruse the ballroom gallery listening to the soothing sounds of local musician, Ramona or test their knowledge of history by trying an interactive gallery activity led by museum docents. At this free monthly social event, enjoy an early evening of refreshments, light hors d’oeuvres, and the elegant surroundings of this beautiful and unique historic museum during the Nights of Lights in St. Augustine.

This event is free and open to the public. Guests may enter at the Granada Street entrance to Café Alcazar (the entrances with the blue and white awnings, located across from the Corazon Cinema).

Lightner After Hours is a held the last Thursday of each month, and is funded in part by the Tourist Development Council of St. Johns County.
