Visiting rabbi series continues

SAINT AUGUSTINE – The Visiting Rabbi Series continues Friday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at First Congregation Sons of Israel, Cordova Street.

Welcomed as guest leader will be Rabbi Bella Bogart, as the congregation gathers for a romantic Kabbalat Shabbat highlighted by music from the love poem Shir Hashirim (Song of Songs). Offering excerpts from Torah and liturgy, Rabbi Bella will discuss Jewish romance and creating/sustaining loving relationships.

Feb. 15 at10 a.m. a lay- led service will be conducted by Dr. Robert Gerson. Dr. Judith Klinghoffer, a senior research associate at Rutgers University, will conduct a Torah Study for the portion of the week.
