Hints to kill pesky dollarweed

Q: Someone told me that I can use lime to kill dollarweed. How do I do this?

A:   If enough lime is applied to an area of soil, it will make the area too alkaline for the weed to grow. This will also ruin the soil for other plants. I would not recommend this technique for weed control.

Q:    How can I keep lizards off of my screened porch?

A:    Find out how they are entering. Seal the entrance or coat the area with petroleum jelly. This should deter them.
