Spotlight on artists

SAINT AUGUSTINE – Historic Coast Culture announces it is introducing a new look for the next few weeks, as most activities previously scheduled have been canceled.

Instead the group will be introducing the public to various artists, organizations and places which “make St. Johns County, Florida, such a special place to visit and live,” says the announcement.

“Art, as a verb, “ says Sinclair, “is the creative and imaginative communication and expression of emotions, ideas, and representations of the intentions of the artist with skill and mastery of the form, whether it is thru the vehicle of visual arts, music, dance and drama. In the broader sense, it includes anything like the art of cooking, art of surfing and art of yoga and more. Art is also the object or end result when it is created artfully. We may all agree that art enhances daily life and I believe it is linked to the very quality of life.”
