Easter hope

PALATKA – Although sunrise services and Easter events were canceled as citizens practiced social distancing to keep the coronavirus at a distance, Christians were celebrating Sunday. At St. James United Methodist Church in Palatka, people showed up individually to keep alive the tradition of putting fresh flowers on the cross that is put up each Lenten season in the courtyard next to the church.

Church member Jane Buck brought a bucketful of flowers to add.
