The ghosts of Marley and Christmas past, present and future will be on stage Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 1-4, as the Palatka High School Musical Theatre Program presents a musical version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
Director is Jim Pignato, who has helped the theater program for more than 25 years, first as a teacher and now a volunteer. Students come from throughout Putnam County.
“The music for A Christmas Carol is written by Alan Mencken, who has written music for most of the popular Disney musicals including Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and Pocahontas,” Pignato said.
Performances are Dec. 1-3 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 4 at 2:30 p.m. at the Jim Pignato Theater. That’s on the campus of C.L. Overturf Jr. Sixth Grade Center at 1100 S. 18th Street in Palatka. Tickets are $15.
Tickers are for sale at Ralph’s House of Flowers and the PHS cashier’s office. Out-of-town ticket buyers should call Ralph’s House of Flowers at 386-325-4734.
