The ghosts of Marley and Christmas past, present and future will be on stage Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 1-4,  as the Palatka High School Musical Theatre Program presents a musical version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

Director is Jim Pignato, who has helped the theater program for more than 25 years, first as a teacher and now a volunteer. Students come from throughout Putnam County.

“The music for A Christmas Carol is written by Alan Mencken, who has written music for most of the popular Disney musicals including AladdinBeauty and the Beast and Pocahontas,” Pignato said.

Performances are Dec. 1-3 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 4 at 2:30 p.m. at the Jim Pignato Theater. That’s on the campus of C.L. Overturf Jr. Sixth Grade Center at 1100 S. 18th Street in Palatka. Tickets are $15.

Tickers are for sale at Ralph’s House of Flowers and the PHS cashier’s office. Out-of-town ticket buyers should call Ralph’s House of Flowers at 386-325-4734.
