‘Madama Butterfly’ On Stage Here

A celebration of First Coast Opera’s “Madama Butterfly” is planned Dec. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tim’s Wine Market, 128 Seagrove Main St., hosted by Friends of First Coast Opera and Tim’s.

Donation is $10 per person and includes a raffle of a special bottle of Paso Robles, a special Butterfly pin and a CD of music from the production. For reservations contact Patti Nolton, obnpat@hotmail.com. Patrons will be asked to pay at the door.

The First Coast Opera presentation of “Madama Butterfly” begins at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 6 and 2 p.m. Jan. 8 at Lewis Auditorium, Flagler College. Tickets are $40 and $10 for students. For information go to http://www.firstcoastopera.com.
