The Nutcracker is a magical holiday show that features, elegant costumes, custom-designed scenery, and skillful athletic dancing that will charm the entire family. The multi-generation cast of 85 members is a blend of local dancers and celebrities, performing alongside world class guest dancers. Dancing in the role of Clara is local dancer, Eléa Woodward, a 13-year-old student at Fruit Cove Middle School and the daughter of John and Virginie Woodward.

Special guest artists, Jennifer Carlynn Kronenberg and Carlos Miguel Guerra, will be dancing the roles of Sugar Plum Fairy and the Cavalier. “I’m excited for our student dancers to work with Carlos and Jennifer and for our audiences to see such accomplished dancers on stage in St. Augustine,” says Luis  Abella, Saint Augustine Ballet’s Artistic Director.  “We’re very lucky to have been able to book such high caliber dancers for our production this year.”

Jennifer Carlynn Kronenberg, born in Queens, New York, trained at the School of American Ballet before joining Miami City Ballet in 1994 as an apprentice. She has been called a prima ballerina in the best sense of the term with fleet footed spins and aristocratic phrasing and line. Kronenberg is married to fellow dancer and partner, Carlos Miguel Guerra.
