PALATKA – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Ravine Gardens State Park and the Friends of Ravine Gardens, Inc. will host their 21st annual Azalea Days Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Friends of Ravine Gardens are looking for family-friendly vendors to participate in this fun community event.
Ravine Gardens State Park is best known for its 100,000 azaleas which are in bloom this time of year! Along with vendors, the park will celebrate having thousands of azaleas in bloom with ranger-led wagon tours, music, pony rides, live entertainment, nature hikes, face painting, and other family fun activities!
There is no vendor fee for non-profit organizations. Commercial Vendor permit fee is $30 for the weekend, and Food Vendor permit fee is $50 for the weekend. Proceeds to benefit the Friends of Ravine Gardens, Inc.
For all vendors: Space is limited and provided on a first-come-first-serve basis! Minimum operating hours are from 10a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Set-up can begin on Friday, March 3, 2017. Vendors must be completely set up at least one hour prior to the event starting. Parking will be designated off site. Exhibit space will be 12″X12″ unless a double space is purchased. (Exception for Food Vendors). Vendors are responsible for their own displays. Our vendor location will be in the beautiful Court of States located in the front of the park. This event runs concurrent and in support of the Florida Azalea Festival in Downtown Palatka, but is a separate event.
To reserve your spot individuals must complete the Vendor Application Form. If fee is applicable, reservation will not be complete until payment is received. (NEW: You may now pay online, please ask for details).
