Events this Month at Ravine Gardens State Park include:

14th Annual Air Potato Rodeo
Ravine Gardens State Park
Saturday, Feb. 11 – 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Help us rid the park of invasive and exotic air potato! There will be awesome prizes, lots of fun, and free lunch for participants provided by the Friends of Ravine Gardens, Inc. Monthly Photo Contest
Ravine Gardens State Park
Febr. 4 – 28
The Friends of Ravine Gardens are hosting a Photo Contest during each month of 2017! Each month will have a different Photo Contest theme, and February’s theme is Azaleas! Bring your camera and explore the park to get the perfect shot. Along with recognition, the winner will be awarded two, day entry passes good for Florida’s 174 award-winning state parks, trails and historic sites, up to 8 people for most parks.
Geocaching 101
Ravine Gardens State Park
Saturday, Feb. 25 – 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Geocaching is an interactive treasure-hunt that uses a GPS or smartphone to find hidden caches. Come learn the basics of this great family activity as we apply that knowledge outdoors! Junior Rangers can even earn a Recreation Stamp for their Passports! Registration required. 21st Annual Azalea Days
Ravine Gardens State Park
Saturday, March 4:   10 a.m. – 5 p.m., &
Sunday, March 4:   10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Experience Ravine Gardens at its best with our 100,000 azaleas in bloom this time of year! Spend your day at the park as you enjoy guided wagon tours, music, pony rides, face painting, vendors featuring arts, crafts, plants, and much more! See nature’s colorful display up-close by taking a ranger-narrated wagon tour around the park’s 1.8 mile loop through thousands of blooming azaleas. Walk along picturesque hiking trails enjoy a spectacular view of colorful plants, including azaleas, dogwoods, magnolias and camellias. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase during the event. Free with regular Park entry fees.

Events this Month at Dunns Creek State Park

Volunteer Work Day
Dunns Creek State Park
Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017
9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Help us maintain the 6,300 acres of natural communities at the park! No experience necessary. Tools will be provided. We will be focusing on trail, fence line maintenance, and preparing for our Putnam County Earth Day Celebration happening at the park on April 22, 2017. Please bring a water bottle and wear closed-toe shoes and proper outdoor clothing. Free park entry for volunteers!
Park Entry Fees for Ravine Gardens State Park:

$5 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.

$4 Single Occupant Vehicle.

$2 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.

Please use the honor box to pay fees. Correct change is required.

$5per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.

Park Entry Fees for Palatka-to-St. Augustine State Trail:

No entrance fee is required to enter this trail.
