Lightner Museum receives $12,450 gift
SAINT AUGUSTINE – The Lightner Museum recently received $12,450 as a result of a Holland America Cruise Line project with CruiseOne Bartimus Travel Group. The check was presented at January’s Lightner After Hours monthly event.
A portion of each cruise ticket purchased by guests who booked their cruise through the Lightner Museum was included in the total funds contributed by Tom and Linda Bartimus of Bartimus Travel Group. Holland America Line also contributed a 12-night cruise for a drawing-by-chance.

Cruising from Ft. Lauderdale, guests enjoyed a 10-night Southern Caribbean cruise visiting the ports of Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Grand Turk, and Half Moon Cay. Barry Myers, Museum Curator, cruised with the group and presented lectures on Caribbean decorative arts, architecture, and the upcoming “Dressing Downton™” Exhibition.
