PALATKA – Now through May 5, the Friends of Ravine Gardens State Park is accepting designs and renderings of a logo as a part of their Logo Design Contest. This logo contest is open to all high school students, grades 9th through 12th, currently enrolled in Putnam County, Florida. Putnam County homeschool students and those enrolled in FLVS are welcome to participate.
All eligible entries will receive a one day pass for entry into any of the state’s 174 state parks. The grand prize winner will receive a Florida State Parks Family Annual Pass that will allow free park entrance into all Florida State Parks for one vehicle, with up to eight people, for one year (a $120 value) and a $100 gift certificate for art supplies. The Friends of Ravine Gardens (FORG) is a non-profit organization that was created with the purpose of supporting Ravine Gardens State Park. Their goal is to provide support to the park through fundraising, volunteerism, event planning and maintenance projects.

Packets can also be picked up at the Ravine Gardens State Park administration office Tuesday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Contest packets will include eligibility and entry requirements and the official entry form.
