New sponsor for Downton Abby exhibit

SAINT AUGUSTINE ¾The Lightner Museum announces Bank of America as a new sponsor for the highly anticipated exhibition, Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times™ coming this fall.

 Dressing Downton™, a 13–week display of 36 authentic Edwardian Era costumes and accessories fromDownton Abbey®, PBS’ most popular television drama in history, will be elegantly displayed in the Museum’s Grand Ballroom Gallery, October 4, 2017 – January 7, 2018.

“With Bank of America’s support for the arts the museum is able to provide the public with more exciting exhibitions, educational programs, and events to experience,” said Robert Harper, director of the Lightner Museum.

Bank of America is an official sponsor for the Dressing Downton™ exhibition, the Dressing Downton™ Opening Reception (being held Oct, 3, 2017) and a special dinner hosted by food celebrity Francine Segan, author of Gilded Age to Today, American Food Fads (being held Dec, 13, 2107).

 Along with other supporters, Bank of America will be recognized at the museum’s Lightner After Hours event held May 25, 2017 in the Lightner Museum’s front lobby and courtyards from 5:30–7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public and includes light refreshments and live music. Donations for beverages are requested.
