Jazz, wine and tapas at Lightner
SAINT AUGUSTINE – Join the Lightner Museum at May’s Lightner After Hours event for an evening of enlightening conversation, exceptional music, and exquisite cuisine in Lightner Museum’s Grand Ballroom Gallery, May 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Blue Muse, an enigma, is true to their name. Formed in 2013, the members of Blue Muse are as eclectic as their music: a former computer consultant recruiting her professor, fellow Jacksonville University students, and adjuncts as well as a baker’s apprentice. It is this sense of mystery and thoughtful collaboration that attributes to the diversified sound their fans love. Sarah Lee recognized each member’s passion for jazz as she worked with each musician while attending Jacksonville University on her own quest to follow her life’s passion, music. They also specialize in playing jazz in church, weaving spiritual improvisations through the waves of liturgy and biblical readings to any denomination.
Delectable cuisine will be provided by Michael’s Tasting Room. Michael’s Tasting Room offers a passion for exquisite flavors and world-class wines. Michael’s Tasting Room has received numerous honors and accolades. Most recently, the Wine Spectator awarded Michael’s Tasting Room’s wine list it’s “Award of Excellence” for the ninth year in a row. The restaurant was featured on The Food Network with Chef Emeril Lagasse during Florida’s 500th anniversary. Stop by its location at 25 Cuna Street in St. Augustine, FL.
