AUTHOR ELIZABETH RANDALL will sign copies of her book, “Murder in St. Augustine” at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17, at the St. Johns County Library Main Branch, Ponce de Leon Blvd. Randall will also present a brief talk on her new book which is about the death of Athalia Ponsell Lindsley.
The ANNUAL CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION will necessitate brief traffic interruptions in the vicinity of the Plaza de la Constitucion on Sunday, June 18.
The procession begins at approximately 12:15 p.m. from the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Augustine and continues south on St. George St. to the Sisters of St. Joseph Convent, then east on Cadiz St., north on Aviles St. crossing King St. to the Plaza de la Constitución then returning to the Cathedral.
Traffic in the vicinity will be halted for brief periods as needed to facilitate the procession. The event is expected to conclude by 1 p.m.
ROB ELLIS PECK & FRIENDS will perform Rock & Roll selections at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 22, in the Plaza de la Constitucion as part of the summer concert series presented by the City of St. Augustine. There is no charge for this series.
STATE REP. CYNDI STEVENSON will a hurricane-related insurance workshop led by experts from the office of Florida’s Chief Financial Officer on Wednesday, June 21, at 6 p.m. at the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View.
Attendees are invited to bring copies of their current policies and will have the opportunity to speak with the experts to answer questions and ensure adequate coverage.
