Summer Volunteer Conference
RSVP of St. Johns County and the St. Johns County School District will be hosting a summer education conference for volunteers Tuesday, August 1. Experts in the areas of mentoring, tutoring, and school readiness will be sharing strategies with volunteers who are currently serving and those who are interested in volunteering. The conference will take place 8 a.m.–noon at the Fullerwood Center, 10 Hildreth Drive, St. Augustine, FL, 32084. Dog Handlers Needed
Dog Handlers are needed July 1 and 2 for offsite adoption events conducted by SAFE. July 1 dogs will be available at the Riverside Arts Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Riverside Avondale Preservation, Inc., is producing group of the Riverside Arts Market located at 715 Riverside Ave., Jacksonville.
July 2, Flavours Eatery, 124 King St., across from First United Methodist Church, has invited adoptions from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
