Information on planting bulbs

Q:    What are some bulbs that can planted in the fall?

A:    Not all of these bloom in the fall but they should all be planted in the fall:  agapanthus, amaryllis, Aztec lily, calla, Louisiana iris, Kaffir lily, walking iris, morea, narcissus, spider lily and zephyr lily.

Q:    Can I leave caladium bulbs in the ground over the winter or do I need to dig them up and store them?

A:    They can be left in the ground. It a wet winter, some may get diseased and decline. Storing them can prevent this so the bulb can have greater longevity.
