Aircraft fabrication program at FCTC

SAINT AUGUSTINE – An Aircraft Fabrication and Assembly Program is being offered at the First Coast Technical College in partnership with Northrop Grumman from Oct. 18 to Jan. 30.

Classes will be held Monday through Thursdays from 6 to10 p.m. and every other Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Oct. 21 being the first Saturday. There will be no classes Nov. 22 – 26, or on Dec. 22-  Jan. 7.

When it asks for program of interest, please select “Airframe Fabrication”. Make sure to click the “Finish and Submit” button at the bottom of the form. If you are unsure how to answer any of the questions on the application, leave them blank. The registration staff will complete any missing information when you formally register for the program. Call 904-547-3282 if you have trouble setting up a user account.

Complete TABE testing

Call 904-547-3282 and ask for registration. You will register and pay for the test, and then you will be contacted by the testing center to schedule a specific date and time for the exam. You may pay the $25fee by credit or debit card (or cash if you register in person.)

 Please call 904-547-3282 to make an appointment to register for the program. You will need to bring proof of high school diploma or GED, and have passing TABE results on file. A payment plan is available, please contact a registration staff member to discussthis option.

Purchase required textbooks for the program.

Textbooks may be purchased from the FCTC Bookstore located in Building C on the Main Campus (2980 Collins Ave., St. Augustine.)
