Volunteer opportunities at COA

SAINT AUGUSTINE  –  The St. Johns County Council on Aging announces the following opportunities for volunteers:

Volunteers needed to help at The Players Senior Center in kitchen for lunches on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Hours are somewhat flexible. Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com

Volunteer needed Thursdays from 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for Coastal Community Center café. Have fun socializing while serving refreshments to active seniors. Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com

Volunteer driver needed 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, or Friday to deliver food from COA downtown to Hastings Senior Center. Company vehicle available if desired.  Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com

Volunteer driver needed to pick up bread from local grocery store and deliver to Trout Creek Senior Center twice a week. Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com

Volunteer driver needed Mondays to drive lunches to Integrative Memory Enhancement Program on Anastasia Island. Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com

Volunteers needed Thursday mornings from 8:15 – 11:30 to help with basic lawn care for seniors in need. Duties include moving, raking, clipping and edging. Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com
