Blue Muse at Lightner after hours

SAINT AUGUSTINE –   Join the Lightner Museum at January’s Lightner After Hours event for an evening of enlightening conversation and exceptional music in Lightner Museum’s Mezzanine above the Historic Pool area, Jan. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Blue Muse, an enigma, is true to their name. Formed in 2013, the members of Blue Muse are as eclectic as their music: a former computer consultant recruiting her professor, fellow Jacksonville University students, and adjuncts as well as a baker’s apprentice. It is this sense of mystery and thoughtful collaboration that attributes to the diversified sound their fans love. Sarah Lee recognized each member’s passion for jazz as she worked with each musician while attending Jacksonville University on her own quest to follow her life’s passion, music. They also specialize in playing jazz in church, weaving spiritual improvisations through the waves of liturgy and biblical readings to any denomination.

This event is free and open to the public.  Donations are requested for beverages.  Tickets for theDressing Downton™ exhibition will be made available to purchase that evening for guests who would like to visit the Grand Ballroom Gallery and see the costumes before they are gone for good!
