SAINT AUGUSTINE – The St. Augustine Humane Society has launched its eighth annual pet photo contest and 2019 calendar fundraiser to support the non-profit’s mission of promoting healthy lifelong pet ownership and reducing the rate of relinquishment to shelters. “The Fast and the Furriest” “calendar will feature the winning pets and classic car theme while the dog or cat is fitted with accessories to match their unique personalities. For more information, call (904) 829-2737 or email email@example.com. Visit the contest website at www.PinUpPaws.com.
This year’s calendar will feature pets and cars from St. Augustine Cruisers Car Club. Styling and photography sessions will take place with award winning photographer, Addison Fitzgerald who has donated his talents to the Humane Society since the calendar’s inception.
“Whether your Great Dane is smitten with a Packard, or your rescue cat can’t wait to check out your vintage Alfa Romeo, we’ll make sure the pet’s automotive proclivities are perfectly captured in the fun and entertaining photo sessions,” said Carolyn Smith, St. Augustine Humane Society’s Executive Director. “Members of St. Augustine Cruisers Car Club may enter their classic cars in the contest, too,” she said. Local fine artist and graphic designer, Maribel Angel continues to donate her creative talents to designing a distinctive calendar publication.
And, for the fourth year, the Humane Society is receiving a promotional billboard to be donated by Clear Channel Outdoor for eight weeks along I-95 in St. Johns County.
