Dealing with wilting impatiens
Q: My impatiens seem to wilt every day. My neighbor has some and they do not do this. Is there something wrong with my plants?
A: Impatiens are a good choice for color in the shade. When planted in a sunny area they will frequently wilt. My guess is that your neighbor’s impatiens are in the shade and yours get more light. Next time plant something else in that area.
Q: When and how deep should I plant narcissus bulbs?
A: Dormant narcissus bulbs are planted September to December in our area at a depth of four inches.
