SAINT AUGUESTIN – Novelist Alissa Nutting will be featured as part of the Writers-In-Residence series during a Feb. 7 reading at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, Flagler College campus. The title of her newest book is “Made for Love: A Novel.” The event is free.
The novel explores in a humorous way the depths to which people go for love, or how far they will go to get away from it.
Nutting is an assistant professor of English at Grinnell College. She is also the author of the story collection “Unclean Jobs for Women and Girls,” as well as the novel “Tampa: A Novel.”
The Flagler College Writers-in-Residence program has hosted a number of world-class novelists, short fiction writers, poets and playwrights in the 30-plus years of its existence. The program takes place during the fall and spring semesters of the academic year and is free and open to the public.
