Caladiums available Saturday, March 9

SAINT AUGUSTINE – Caladiums will be on sale and available for pick-up of previous orders from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 9, at Watson Realty parking lot, U.S. 1 South.

The bulbs are available in the colors of red, pink and white. Cost is $10 for 12; $20 for 25 bulbs; $35 for 50; and $65 for 100. Also available will be cabbage fresh from the Hastings fields for $1 donation, with proceeds of that going to the Donnie Heymen Scholarship Fund to help students from Pedro Menendez High School attend SKILLS competition.

The sale is sponsored by the Pilot Club of St. Augustine, a community service organization which sponsors an array of projects ranging from erection of the war memorial in the Plaza de la Constitucion to support of youth activities.
