SAINT AUGUSTINE – Parking area provided, but is not complimentary
The City of St. Augustine welcomes motorcycle enthusiasts who are visiting the area for Bike Week, the annual Daytona Beach event through March 17.
As has been the custom for many years, the city will designate a parking area for motorcycles along Cathedral Pl. adjacent to the Plaza de la Constitución during those days when visitation is heaviest, but parking is not complimentary.
Those using the designated parking area will want to take advantage of the ParkStAug app available from both the App Store and Google Play to pay for parking. Areas set aside for motorcycle parking will be designated with traffic cones and signs stating that those using the space must pay to park.
MANY FESTIVALS
March and April in St. Augustine has informally become known as The Festival Season and with good reason as demonstrated by the list below.
Festivals goers, especially those attending events on Francis Field, will likely add to the normal springtime visitor traffic. Those traveling to or though the downtown during these events may wish to plan their trip accordingly so as to lessen any inconvenience.
For those attending events, the best option is to take advantage of the free park and ride Spring Shuttle, thus avoiding traffic congestion and the need to find and pay for parking. The shuttle schedule is available here.
