World-Wide Knit-In Day June 8

SAINT AUGUSTINE – The Textile Arts Guild of St. Augustine will participate in World Wide Knit in Public Day on June 8 with demonstrations at two St. Johns County Public libraries, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Guild members in vintage attire will be at the Main Library, 1960 North Ponce de Leon Blvd., St. Augustine, and at the Southeast Branch Library, 6670 U.S. 1 South, near State Road 206, in southern St. Johns County.

Members will demonstrate various forms of knitting, crochet, rug hooking, tatting, felting, bobbin lace and other textile handcrafts. They also will share their expertise and answer questions from the public. For more information, please email Linda Schlegel at TextileArtsGuild@gmail.com.
