Pilot club installs 2019-20 officers
SAINT AUGUSTINE – Jo Brown is the new president of the Pilot Club of St. Augustine. Members gathered June 19 at the Brown home for the installation ceremonies over which Lynne Stephenson, immediate past district governor for the Florida District of Pilot, officiated. Stephenson is also a past president of the St. Augustine club.

Also installed were Vicki Sellner, president-elect; Rene Naughton, corresponding secretary; Anne Heymen, recording secretary; Sara Hetherington, treasurer; Leslie Coleman, assistant treasurer; and board members Kay Burtin and Sue Allen, two-year directors; Liz Whalen, Kay David and Tadzia Alexander, outgoing president, one-year directors.
As a memento of the occasion Brown presented denim aprons printed with the Pilot name for members to wear at the numerous fundraising events held through the year.
A reception at the Naughton home preceded the installation ceremonies.
The Pilot Club of St. Augustine, a community-based organization, was founded here in 1936. Projects through the years have included the War Memorial in the Plaza, Lifeline, the emergency medical response system and support of those dealing with brain injuries.
