Evening tours at Lightner

SAINT AUGUSTINE – This summer, immerse yourself in the history of the museum’s building with a special evening tour of the former Hotel Alcazar. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or beer and light hors d’oeuvres prior to the tour in the beautiful lobby of the museum. Then, wind your way through spaces not typically seen by the general public in a behind the scenes view of what life was like for the aristocrats who stayed at the hotel and the staff who served them during the Gilded Age. The tour finishes on the mezzanine overlooking the historic pool.

This intimate evening tour is limited to 10 people per group. Cost is $45 per person. The tour is recommended for adults only. Guests will be walking up several flights of stairs and will stand throughout. Tickets must be purchased 24 hours in advance.
