Fair weather forecast in Elkton

ELKTON – Take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life Sunday, Oct. 13 and head west from St. Augustine to Elkton and St. Ambrose Catholic Church. There under the shade of giant oak trees enjoy a gentle breeze, good food and good company, as the church hosts its annual Fall Festival. Hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Admission to the festival and parking are free. Just bring your own folding chairs and choose your spot under the shade of the great oaks.

The church is located at 6070 Church Road. Directional signs from State Road 207 help guide visitors.

Folks look forward to this annual event with its wonderful Minorcan clam chowder, created by Mary Ellen Masters and her cooking crew, as well as the ever-popular barbecue and other tasty foods for which the fair has been known.

Live entertainment, hay rides, face painting and entertainment for the kids are drawing cards to this annual event. There’s also a bake sale and 50/50 drawing.
