Book fair, Lego event upcoming

SAINT AUGUSTINE  – Learn To Read will present a Book Fair at Barnes & Noble on Saturday, Dec.7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., highlighted by a  Lego  building Competition from with prizes awarded at 4 p.m. for ages 5 – 8 , 9 – 12 and 13 – 16.

Seven local authors will be on hand for book signings:

• The Secret of the Rice God by Ian Coubrough
• White Trash Warm Hearts by Judy James
• Jed Chance: Ride for Justice by Art Mendenhall
• Northern Lights by Cathy Parker
• Stroke Diaries Volumes I-III by Dr. Tom Broussard
• Mumford the Manatee by Dee Mountcastle
• My Real Name Is Hanna by Tara Lynn Masih

This event is free and open to the public. A percentage of all Barnes & Noble book and café sales at the store the day of the event will be donated to Learn to Read – as will online sales through December 14th. Participants must use the B&N Voucher # 12543617 at purchase to ensure credit to Learn To Read.
