Moment of solidarity at synagogue

SAINT AUGUSTINE – Oct. 27, 2018 an unspeakable horror unfolded at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life Synagogue leaving 11 dead and others injured while Jews were at prayer.

The following weekend, like many other synagogues throughout the world, First Congregation Sons of Israel welcomed  guests from the greater St. Augustine community into the sanctuary in an important moment of solidarity.

On this one-year anniversary the Congregation is again upon all people of good conscience to another #ShowUpForShabbat to join together in worship, remembrance, and community at the Erev Shabbat service on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m., 161 Cordova St.

Shabbat services continue on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 10 a.m.
